Using brassinolide and girdling combined application as an alternative to ethephon for improving color and quality of 'Crimson Seedless' grapevines

Abstract The color of 'Crimson Seedless' berries is a major constraint in expanding marketing and export potential. target this investigation to enhance the quality by using brassinolide (BL) girdling treatments, individually combination, as an alternative ethephon over two consecutive seasons. obtained results revealed that combined treatment BL at 2.0 mg/L recorded highest significant yield values (17.78 ± 0.29 18.26 0.23 kg/vine) both seasons, respectively, contrast treatments which had no influence.
